and the U.S. Government for full consideration of alternatives to
building a bypass through Wiscasset, BEFORE a decision is made to
build a bypass is made. Any decision to build a bypass with
a new bridge would necessarily doom the Davey Bridge when its life
expectancy expires around 2063. That may, or may not be what Maine
wants, but so far, it hasn't been explicitly stated. |
